K.Co Finance Intern, Financial Analyst
Role Overview
K.Co Finance is accepting applications on a rolling basis for a part-time Financial Analyst Internship of 4 to 8 hours a week. Interns read, write and run basic financial analysis while learning how a family office-style firm plans, operates, builds community and wins and keeps clients.
About K.Co Finance
K.Co Finance is a member-based economic wellness platform that brings family office-style strategy to people who are still building wealth. Founded in New York City in 2022, the firm serves high-income earners, business owners, collegiate NIL athletes, and schools and universities.
Members work with one coordinated team across five areas:
Fractional CFO: cash flow, spending, debt, savings and major financial decisions, reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Investments: investor education and the Sophisticated Investor Readiness Program, which prepares members to evaluate private-market opportunities.
Tax: year-round planning, bookkeeping, preparation and filing for individuals and businesses.
Marketing: brand strategy, storytelling, search visibility and sponsorship development for entrepreneurs and creatives.
Wealth Literacy Portal: a members-only library of newsletters, executive memos, case studies and on-demand lessons.
Our mission is to build the next generation of investors through technology and education. K.Co Finance is a mission-based corporation whose primary shareholder is the non-profit Kconomics, and we take no venture capital.
What you will do
Interns support the K.Co team with reading, writing and basic financial analysis. No client decisions rest on an intern's work; a team member reviews everything before it is used.
Read: study market, tax and economic news, K.Co executive memos and case studies, and summarize what matters for members.
Write: draft plain-English briefs, glossary entries, newsletter sections and case-study write-ups for the Wealth Literacy Portal.
Analyze: build simple budgets and cash-flow summaries, calculate savings rates and basic ratios, and read financial statements in a spreadsheet.
Support operations: help organize internal processes, meeting notes and member-facing materials.
Support community and growth: assist with community events, outreach research and content that helps K.Co reach and keep members.
What you will learn
The internship is built as a learning experience in four areas.
Financial planning: How income, spending, taxes, investing and long-term goals fit into one coordinated plan
Business Operations: How a member-based financial services firm runs day to day, from onboarding to reporting
Community Building: How K.Co brings people together around economic wellness, in person and online
Client Acquisition and Retention: How the firm finds the right members, earns their trust and keeps the relationship strong
